Your guide
Dilwyn Jenkins will be leading this tour. With a passion for Peru and almost 30 years travelling in the country, Dilwyn is an experienced tour guide and expedition leader. He has a Cambridge degree in Archaeology and Anthropology and has written all 6 editions of the Rough Guide to Peru
Prices
15 days - from £1,249 (or US$2,375) * 21 days - from £1,969 (or US$3,750) *
* These prices cover accompanying guide, Tai Chi instruction (with thanks to the UK Taiji Qigong Foundation http://www.uktqf.co.uk), healing sessions with Shaman, food, internal transport and accommodation in Peru. They do NOT include international airfare (& Lima airport departure tax) to and from Peru, travel insurance (each tour participant is required to take out their own cover), site entry tickets, alcoholic drinks and tips.
Other Booking Conditions: a 20% booking deposit is required to reserve your place on the tour the final 80% must be paid before the end of April 2007 (or your place and deposit may be lost) Inca Trail option costs an additional $300 approx.
Difficulty Level: relatively easy and comfortable
Transport: internal air-flights, taxis, private mini-buses, some public buses, motorised river canoes
Accommodation: Pleasant mid range hotels and albergues in coast and mountains, double room lodge-style in jungle (with bathrooms and mosquito netting)
The Group: Group sizes range from around 10 to 14 people. Couples, families and single people are expected and everyone will find the group open and welcoming
